Cover with a lid and leave as it is for overnight. Strain the water in the morning and add a spoon of honey to it. You have to drink this solution 3 times a day for betterment in your condition.

According to another remedy, you have to add 1 spoon of shah jeera in 1½ liters of water. Bring the mixture to boil and then simmer the gas for next 15 minutes. When it is lukewarm, sip it. You have to take that 2-3 times a day for next 5 days. Clove is known as wonderful fighter with gas problems. You can just chew two cloves or bite it too, to remove the problem. If you can’t chew it due to its taste then grind a clove and a cardamom. Now, the mixture of both powders can be taken as mouth freshener. It will not only save you from acidity but also keep bad breath away.

Take a spoon of cumin seeds and roast it. Now crush them to get a fine powder. You can mix a spoon of powder to a glass of water. This solution is one of the best remedies for acidity. Basil leaves is loaded with lots of medical benefits so, you can take 5 fresh leaves and wash them. Then chew them well, the juices from the leaves will help to relieve acidity. You can also prepare an herbal tea with the leaves.
